The hotel is set in a very central area next door to a café and pub. It's also close to the village center in Glenridding. it's only 3 km away from Arnison Crag.

The hotel's location was very central in Glenridding, offering lovely views over Ullswater. It was conveniently located just beside the Campbell library and nearby local eateries.

The rooms were well decorated and the continental breakfast was hearty! Incredible very central location, next to the valley and the lake and hills and cafe.

All in all it was exceptional value, considering prices in Glenridding. The room was big, there were a safe box, multi-channel television, and coffee/tea makers. The staff was welcoming & courteous. The location was stunning for exploring this beautiful area, really close to the downstairs ‘ bistro' and the tourist information office and Ullswater Steamers. I ate in the outdoor restaurant nearby.

The bathroom I had was a little tired.

The breakfast was varied, the check in was early.

Sincerely, it was a real good stay for a quick visit. There was lots of brilliant options for continental breakfast.

We requested a double room with magnificent view and were completely satisfied. The continental breakfast was adequate, reasonably priced. The location was incredible and fab, within easy walking distance of Ullswater Lake.

This place has a great location in a beautiful area and a charming traditional building.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful location. Everything you'd need for a relaxing holiday/break.On arrival had lunch in pub under hotel-good food and service.

Very helpful staff, offered help with luggage, directed us to the lift, nice comfortable room with windows we could open, excellent food, good car park. A very pleasant hotel which we would certainly use again and recommend. I am waitng for the pillow which I sadly left behind but have been promised theat it will be sent on - a great service.

Service in the dining room in the evening was very slow . We had coffee in the lounge in the morning which was poor. A suggestion --It was very warm while we were there and a sheet and a blanket in the cupboard would have been great, I feel the heat and not every one likes duvets.

Clean place with mountain views and nice staff. Fab location and huge new-fashioned room.- Exceptional service throughout stay.- Easy parking nearby.
